  26.    File Transfer Protocols

  28.         This option will list the available file transfer protocols for
  29.        selection.  Use your favorite transfer protocol for downloading
  30.        and uploading messages.

  32.        ZMODEM is a very popular file transfer mechanism and is highly
  33.        recommended.

  39.    Archivers Options
  40.  
  41.         Your sysop has provided a list of available archiver programs.
  42.        Archivers are programs that compress and expand data. This allows
  43.        for reduction in transfer time.   Xpress will use the archiver
  44.        that you choose from this list to compress and expand the mail.
  45.  
  46.        Choose the one you would like to use and INTEND to use on your PC.
  47.        For instance, if you like the new PKZIP archiver, choose PKZIP from
  48.        the list and configure your Silver Xpress Reader to use the PKZIP.

  50.        NOTE: If you setup the reader to use "ARCHIVER DETECTION", then
  51.        you don't have do much more other than have PKZIP/PKUNZIP on your
  52.        path statement.

  60.         The sysop has defined various bulletins for you to read off-line.
  61.        You have the option to receive these bulletins if they are
  62.        available.  You will only receive new bulletins, not old ones.
